The Days are Fleeting

Doesn't time just seem to fly.  We have been in Alaska now for almost two months.  Even though I remember driving across the country with 5 kids in the van,  living in 'box land' and attempting to figure out where everything was going to go...those memories are fading fast.  So many times I just let time fly past me without making the most of the moments given to me.

A post I read by Star Traci also made me consider what I spend my days on.  What will you spend this day on?  Will you use your moments wisely?

yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.  James 4:14

"My days are swifter than a runner; they flee away; they see no good. They go by like skiffs of reed, like an eagle swooping on the prey. Job 9:25, 26

You sweep them away as with a flood; they are like a dream, like grass that is renewed in the morning: in the morning it flourishes and is renewed; in the evening it fades and withers. Psalm 90: 5, 6

"Man who is born of a woman is few of days and full of trouble. He comes out like a flower and withers; he flees like a shadow and continues not. Job 14:1,2

And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. I John 2:17

They will perish, but you will remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will change them like a robe, and they will pass away, but you are the same, and your years have no end. Psalm 102:26,27

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.  Hebrews 13:8
