Ugh, migrains

www.tettelestai3.blogspot.com
I apologize for the lateness of this Memory Lane, I was suffering a major migraine yesterday.  It started Sunday night, middle of the night.  I woke up, took some medicine, and prayed it would stay down.  I was sitting in a chair with a book on my lap unable to focus on the page.  Hubby came down to rub my temples in hopes that it would help me find rest.  Thankfully, it did, but the experience brought to mind my first experience with the world of the migraine.

The first time I ever experienced a migraine was 5months after my first child was born.  I had never had such a headache before.  I took the normal ibuprofen to fight off what I assumed was a common headache.  It was after I had thrown up a couple times that I began to suspect that it was something more serious.  When my son woke up from his nap, I quickly realized that reinforcements were needed.  I could hardly function!  It was crazy :-(  I called my sister who came over right away.  See, April had been having migraines for a while.  Though she was only 17, she had experience with this horrible problem.  She played with her nephew while I laid in bed wishing for death.

I don't get these often, but when I do, they send me down quickly.  I can sometimes catch them before they get bad, but when I don't... :-(

Do you suffer from migraines?  Pretty  miserable, right?  Please share your memories with us, link in and wander down memory lane.
